  4. Take care of the property - it is your home, and a little cleaning here and there goes a long way. Putting away garbage cans and removing inoperable vehicles maintains curb appeal.
  5. Respect thy neighbors - avoid excessive noise, keep communal areas clean, and follow any building rules or regulations.
  6. Obtain renter's insurance - consider getting renter's insurance to protect your personal belongings in case of theft, damage, or accidents. This shows responsibility and helps protect you.
